In occasione del suo 85esimo compleanno, il leggendario Tony Bennett pubblica martedì 20 settembre “Duets II”, secondo capitolo del fortunatissimo “Duets”, album del 2006 con cui Bennett ha vinto ben 3 Grammy Awards.
Come “Duets”, anche “Duets II” è stato prodotto da Phil Ramone e vede la partecipazione di grandi artisti, tra cui spiccano Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bublè, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole e John Mayer, che duettano con Tony Bennett in canzoni del suo repertorio e classici jazz.
“Duets II” esce in versione standard CD, ed in CD+DVD. Il DVD conterrà immagini tratte dalle sessions di registrazione dell’album e interviste girate da Dion Beebe, direttore della fotografia premio Oscar per i film “Memorie di una Geisha”, “Chicago” e “Collateral”.
