Tutte le nomination dell’89esima edizione degli Academy Awards. La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà domenica 26 febbraio al Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles.
Sono state annunciate le nomination dell’89esima edizione dei premi Oscar. La cerimonia di consegna degli Academy Awards si svolgerà al Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles domenica 26 febbraio e sarà presentata per la prima volta dal conduttore televisivo Jimmy Kimmel.
“La La Land”, il musical di Damien Chazelle, guida la corsa all’Oscar con ben 14 candidature. Lo seguono “Moonlight” di Barry Jenkins con 8 nomination; “Arrival” di Denis Villeneuve con 7 candidature; “Lion”, “Manchester By The Sea” e “Hacksaw Ridge” a pari merito con 6; “Hell or High Water” e “Barriere” con 4; “Jackie” e “Hidden Figures” con 3 nomination.
Fra i candidati al Miglior Documentario c’è l’italiano “Fuocoammare” (Fire at Sea) di Gianfranco Rosi. Rivali del film italiano che ha già vinto l’Orso d’oro alla Berlinale e numerosi altri premi sono: “I Am Not Your Negro”, “Life Animated”, “O.J.: Made in America” e “13th”.
Italiani sono anche Alessandro Bertolazzi e Giorgio Gregoriani, candidati per il make up del blockbuster tratto dai fumetti Marvel “Suicide Squad”. Ed è di origine italiana anche il giovane Alan Barillaro, supervisore alle animazioni ai Pixar Animation Studios, dal 1997. Padre calabrese, madre abruzzese, cresciuto in Canada, è l’autore del corto candidato “Piper”.
