Gli Oscar della televisione consegnati nella notte del 22 settembre a Los Angeles. Miglior Miniserie “Chernobyl”, Miglior film-tv “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch”, Miglior Comedy “Fleabag”, Miglior Drama “GoT”.
“Game of Thrones” (Il Trono di Spade) si aggiudica l’Emmy come miglior serie tv drammatica. Mentre a “Fleabag” va quello come miglior serie nella categoria commedie. Tra i super favoriti della 71esima edizione degli Oscar della tv c’era infatti la serie dei record “GoT” che con la sua ultima stagione ha conquistato ben 32 nomination. È la quarta volta che la serie di HBO si aggiudica l’ambito riconoscimento.
Billy Porter di “Pose” è il migliore attore drammatico, diventando così il primo interprete afroamericano dichiaratamente gay a vincere in questa categoria. Anzi: “La categoria è l’Amore!”, come ha affermato emozionando dal palco.
Tra i premiati anche Michelle Williams che si aggiudica l’Emmy come miglior attrice in una miniserie per “Fosse/Verdon”. Ricevendo il premio l’attrice ha ringraziato Fox e i produttori della serie tv per “averla sostenuta e per averla pagata” in modo adeguato, nello stesso modo con cui sono retribuiti i suoi colleghi uomini. L’attrice si è più volte pronunciata per la parità nei compensi. “Ritengo” questo premio “come il riconoscimento di quanto è possibile quando si crede in una donna, quando la si fa sentire sicura di dar voce ai suoi bisogni e la si rispetta abbastanza da ascoltarli”, ha detto sul palco.
Nessun premio attoriale per “Chernobyl”, però Johan Renck e Craig Mazin si portano a casa rispettivamente gli Emmy come miglior regia per una miniserie o film-tv e miglior sceneggiatura per una miniserie o film-tv. Miglior film-tv “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” (Netflix).
La cerimonia degli #Emmys è cominciata alle 2 di notte (in Italia) del 22 settembre al Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles. La serata è stata trasmessa dalla Fox e anche in diretta streaming sul sito fox.com.
