Sono 56 i titoli che compongono la selezione ufficiale della 73esima edizione
Cannes, 3 giugno 2020 – Il delegato generale Thierry Frémaux e il presidente Pierre Lescure hanno annunciato oggi in diretta i 56 film che compongono la selezione ufficiale della 73esima edizione del Festival di Cannes. Tutti questi titoli, precedentemente programmati per il festival, cancellato a causa del Covid-19, saranno marchiati “Cannes 2020”.
“Questi film – ha spiegato Frémaux – li accompagneremo sul nostro sito, nelle sale cinematografiche, sia i grandi circuiti che le sale indipendenti, nei vari festival, tra questi anche San Sebastian che li ammetterà in Concorso”.
I titoli non sono suddivisi nelle sezioni Competition, Out of Competition, Un Certain Regard, Midnight Screenings e Special Screenings. La selezione comprende 15 opere prime, con una percentuale più alta di donne e una forte presenza francese. Tra i titoli manca Nanni Moretti con il suo “Tre Piani”, che molti si aspettavano di trovare tra i Cannes Label.
